COPAcabana 2011

COPA is a non-profit organization that works with people 55 years and older in the Toronto area who have addictions and/or concurrent disorders. We use a harm-reduction approach that has been proven very successful in supporting older adults in their choice to combat addiction and/or concurrent disorder issues with dignity and self-respect.

We provide outreach services to older adults by going to where they are located, rather than asking them to come to us. As a result, COPA can help the many marginalized and isolated individuals who are often precluded from accessing other addiction and/or community services.

Once again this year we are having our annual fundraising and awareness event, COPAcabana.
